Having Skin Infection Which Have Hairlike Filaments. They Appear To Carry Around A Piece Of Tissue And Discard It As They Grow Larger.

yes, i have, what seems to be some kind of wormlike skin infection. The hairlike fillaments, range in size from an inch or so, to nearly a foot in length. it is very uncomfortable to downright painfull at times. In the primary stage they appear to carry around apiece tissue from me, and discard it as they grow larger. The largest one exited my leg to the inside of my pants, and was large enough, that i could feel in between my fingers, when i tried to stuff it in a container. I suspect that this some sort of fungi. Do you know what this could possibly be?

Thank you for your query .

You may be having a Larva Currens Migrans which is a condition in which you get worm like skin infection .
You would need to take treatment for the same from your Physician who will prescribe you certain tablets like Albendazole.

A sonography of the area would help in detecting the worm under the skin .

Thanks and Take care
