Having Undergone Appendicitis Surgery, Is Painful Abdomen Normal?

I have undergone appendicitis operation last year(sep 2009). Appendix removed. After that normal. But last week I felt the same pain (that whole day) in my right side abdomen. It can't manageable that time. Now I am alright. What is the reason for that? Whether it is a post complication ?

It is hard to say but I don't think it's related to previous surgery so it is more likely to be some new disorder such as pelvic infections, diverticulosis etc. You should visit gastroenterologist for further evaluation. Wish you good health. Regards
