HELLO,

AS per the description ,i feel your teeth are affected with gingivitis.

Plaque and food debris accumulation has resulted in gum infection.

Please do get your teeth cleaned, maintain good oral hygiene.

Brush your teeth twice daily using soft-bristled toothbrush.
Rinse your mouth after every meals.

Chlorhexidine mouthrinses may prevent accumulation of bacteria.

Hope this helps.

hello and welcome,

Your symptoms indicate that you have got poor oral hygiene due to which have tooth pain and gums problems.

Due to improper brushing and and lack of flossing , bacterial plaque and calculus deposits deep in the gum pocket and the root surfaces of the teeth leading to redness , bleeding gums , recession or thin gums , sensitivity and pain due to exposure of tooth nerve tissue.

As you said you cannot afford a dental treatment , at home you can start with regular mouth gargling after every food by lukewarm saline water or antiseptic mouthwash like chlorhexidine.

maintain good oral hygiene by proper brushing and flossing ,cleaning in the interdental areas .

Apply dentogel antiseptic oral ointment over the gums 2 to 3 times a day . for pain relief you can take analgesics with paracetamol.

but a thorough professional scaling and root planing of the teeth by a dentist will help you in a better way .

i hope this helps,

take care.

dear friend,

thanks for sharing your concern.

do not worry at all.you will be fine.

of course visiting a dentist and getting yourself evaluated for dental treatment is best.but at present if you cannot afford it,then i can just help you with simple measures to follow for maintaining good oral hygiene.

these measures if followed properly will stop the progression of disease if not a complete cure.

later on once you get a charity dental camp, you can very well get the treatment done there, look for it in your city.the oral hygiene measures are,

1.brush twice daily, especially in the night after food.

2.avoid lots of chocolates, refined sugar and sticky food stuffs,if you consume them, make sincere effort to brush your teeth after having them.

3.use chlorhexidine 2% mouth wash for fifteen days and then discontinue for next fifteen days. again repeat this.do this for three months.

4.use gum paints for gum massage.

5.if possible do flossing for interdental areas(means passing of dental floss between two teeth to keep it clean. )

include vit C supplements in your diet, like lemon, oranges etc.

hope it helps.

thanks

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query,
To maintain your teeth healthy follow the following measures:-
-Brush your teeth 2 times a day with a soft-bristled toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste
-Daily flossing removes plaque buildup in places your toothbrush can't reach.
-Using an antimicrobial rinse can reduce the severity of gingivitis.
-Visit your dentist every 6 months for a cleaning and oral exam.
-Eat healthy foods and limit sweets and junk food.
-Smoking or using smokeless tobacco increases the risk for severe gum disease, which can lead to tooth loss.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful
Regards
