Having Vaginal Itching And Slight Discomfort With Burning Sensation. Using Vagisil. Noticed Red Discharge. Worried?

Hi, I am 24 years old and have had 3 sexual partners 2 of which have been bigger the current one. I have been having vaginal itching and slight discomfort sometimes a burning sensation while penetration every time I have sex with my Fiance (I happen to like rough sex), this has only been happening for the last 3- 4 months and I have been using vagisil for the itching but there is no relief. Yesterday I began seeing a red discharge (I had my period 1 week ago) after fingering myself (I have finger nails granted they are short) which I don't do often. There has also been redness can you tell me what this maybe an if I should really be worried?.

OBGYN 's  Response
Hi
You may be having a severe case of bacterial vaginosis. Hence the itching.Since it makes the vagina dry,any small abrasions may occur with manipulation. Start probiotics and fluconazole /clotrimoxazole ointment. Avoid sex for a few days.Use lubrication.

OBGYN Dr. Rubee Khattar's  Response
Hi Dear,
Te symptoms described by you of itching and dryness wit burning sensation are correlating with that of vaginal infection which itself could be fungal, bacterial or mixed. The red discharge may be due to some ooze from the raw area.
In my view, go and consult a gynae, get yourself examined and treated accordingly.
Also, stop sex for few days till it is cured as it will worsen the thing especially an unprotected one
