Headache After ASD Closure, Could This Just Be The Morphine Wearing Off ?

My five-year-old son had open heart surgery almost two weeks ago to close his ASD. Both of his lungs collapsed in the following week. Since he has been home (five days) he has complained of headaches some of them severe enough to cry which is unusual for him. Could this just be the morphine wearing off?

Hi well come to HCM.
Though the ASD once operated is cured and one should forget it. But in your case
it looks headache is very severe making child to cry. Better consult your operating
surgeon to find out any chances of embolism or any other factor is related to headache.
Thanks
