Headache, Booming Sound In The Ear. Tinnitus? Could It Be Due To Exposure To Loud Noise?
Since yesterday I have had a low booming sound in both ears, every sound I hear is amplified and its beginning to give me a headache. It feels like there is pressure but it doesn't hurt. The sound I can best describe is like accute tinnitus but with a very low range frequency rather than the high pitches you usually experience. I haven't been around loud noises at all to cause it. It just came on me slowly yesterday and is now quite loud and affecting me badly.
I read your query regarding Tinnitus which you had developed after exposure to loud noice. I would like to tell you that there are various causes of tinnitus and exposure to loud sound is one of them.
Whenever tinnitus is due to exposure to loud sound there is always associated impairement of hearing. such type of tinnitus and hearing loss may be some times reversible and on most of the time it is permanent.
Regards.
