Headache, Feeling Of Electric Shock From Spine To Head. Normal Scan Results

Hello there I have a friend of mine who always complains about a headache and last week she passed out on her own in her house and got up after 3hrs and said she was in the bath and something like electric shock moved from her spine shooting straight to her head she woke up but could not move her legs she crawled to call 999 she was admitted in hospital had a scan done doctors say nothing serious but still the head is still giving her problems please advise

Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
As you stated that your friend fainted in bathroom and passed out .
This may be due to involvement of cervical spine or head . Diagnosis can be confirmed by M R I only ( scan will not yield any thing).
2nd reason may be vertigo , diagnosis can be confirmed by physical as well clinical examination by an E N T ( for vestibulococchlear nerve).
3rd reason may be postural hypotension , diagnosis confirmed by a physician after examination of blood pressure at the time of headache.
In my opinion M R I will find out the reason of intense headache .So consult a neurologist and get his opinion.Good luck. Dr. HET
