Headache Followed By Burning And Pressure With Eyes Hurting
Help! I have been experiencing a headache since 12:45pm when I woke yesterday, I also have been feeling like my head is burning up, some kinda of pressure along with the aching, my eyes hurt slightly, it's hard to focus, I tried drinking water and it isn't helping because I woke up slightly dehydrated I have no idea what is going on if you can answer this that would be awesome.
Hello and welcome to HCM,
Headache associated with difficulty to focus suggests a refractive error.
You need to consult an ophthalomolist for clinical examination and to check for refractive error.
When refractive error is present, the muscles of the eyes are strained to focus to form image.
The straining produces fatigue of the ocular muscles and hence ocular pain and headache.
Prescription of appropriate glasses will correct the refractive and hence the headache.
If there is no refractive error, some other cause of headache and eye ache has to be found out.
Thanks and take care
