I have been experiencing headache symptoms for 8 days that appear to fit the characteristics of ice pick headaches. However, I would describe the pain as being dull, but definitely noticeable, vs. a stabbing pain. They always occur in the same area on the right side, close to the top of my head, and appear to come out of nowhere, only lasting 1-3 seconds. They occur from 5-15 times per day, but usually more in the late afternoon and evening. I'm trying to figure out if there are any triggers for these, but have found no pattern. I'm not sure who to consult for a diagnosis & treatment. Will these eventually go away? Thank you!
