Headache, Pain In Entire Scalp, Large Tender Lump On Back Of Neck. Treatment?

Today, I had one of the worst headaches in my life. It wasn't like any other normal headache, the pain took up my entire scalp and was pinpointed to the back of head, where the neck meets the skull. I also noticed a rather large, tender lump on the back of my neck, that goes from the back of my right ear to my neck. However, the left side seems normal.

dear friend as per your chief complaints, I can suggest you that if the lump is soft to firm in consistency then get the FNAC done and also get the CT scan of the Brain Parenchyma (Contrast enhanced CT scan) to rule out any Intra cranial pathology. But still I would suggest you to consult the Specialist if you don’t get relief as on examination the findings may be different and line of treatment may have to be changed. Please don’t hesitate to consult and ask for any more query. i will be pleased to answer.
