My husband has a headache , stiff neck , sore shoulders and is getting motion sickness in the car. This has been going on for a week and all that helps is to lay down. He was at the doctor 5 days ago and at that time was running a temp of 96.3 and he was having cold sweats. His blood work showed no bacterially infection but he doesn t seem to be improving. I am getting concerned as tomorrow will be a week.
Hai,
1. Headache, Motion sickness, getting better on lying down, cold sweats ---> indicates vestibulitis of ear --> needs ENT opinion
2. Headache, stiff neck, sore shoulders, giddiness, relieved by rest and worsened by activities to neck --> Cervical cpondylosis. Cervical spondylosis can also cause motion sickness like symptoms.
3. Xray of Cervical spine will help us rule-out cervical spondylosis
4. If there are changes in Cervical spine - course of NSAID's / muscle relaxants +/- cervical collar can give him a dramatic relief after proper orthopaedic consultation.
