Headache, Worse At Night. What Can It Be?

My head has been hurting for the past 3 days now. It started after my weekend of non-stop basketball. It is not a constant headache. It only happens from time to time. Like a drill then it stops, then it happens again. It happens worse at night. I sometimes think I have a few but in reality, I do not. What is it and what caused it? Thank you!

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi there ~

Thank you for your question. I understand your concern. I also think that you might be having what we call migraines. It does seem to affect your functioning. There are many medications that help with the condition and you should consult a psychiatrist to get help with the condition. I hope this helps.

Take care and have a lovely day!
