Headaches, Stressed, Jaw Pain, Aneurysm, No Traces Of Tumors. Why Do I Grind My Teeth At Night?

hi i have been having pains in my head for almost 2 months now off and on. i have seen my physician twice and eye doctor and dentist. my physician thinks its coming from stress and my dentist thinks it comes from grinding my teeth at night. my eye doctor saw no swelling in my brain when she did my eye exam and said i seem fine. my neck also hurts from time to time and i just have a dull achy pain on the left side of my head from time to time and tightness like a rubber band pulling on that side as well. what could it be? i noticed that when this first started i was biting down and chewing on gum real hard for several weeks and wehn my dentis did my exam, i had tenderness in my jaw but no significant jaw pain and he did state that he saw signs where i had been grinding my teeth at night. my pain is on the left side of my head lateral to my eye, almost in the center of my head, but not quite...my physician also stated that she saw no signs of a tumor or anuryseium when she performed my nero exam...

Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
It is good to note that your eye and detailed neurological examinations have been normal. Also, normal funds examination as done by the eye doctor rules out any large tumor in the brain.

However, I have noted that you have symptoms such as pain and grinding of teeth.

It may be a good idea to start with symptomatic therapy such as ibuprofen or diclofenac tablets for pain relief. If there is no good relief in the short term, then, you may go for a brain scan such as MRI to exclude any internal problem.
