Headaches, Water Dripping From Nose, Metallic Taste. Reasons?
Hi I hit my head about 4 months ago and about. Few weeks later I noticed when I bend over its like water dripping from my nose and I have a matelic taste in my mouth the water substance is like salty and my one ear feels like liquid is in it. I have had a bunch of headaches since. Was wondering what it could possibly be? I know I need to go to the doctors for it bit should I be worried about this?

The severity of your injury is not mentioned. Anyhow, the symptoms you are saying about is of CSF rhinorrhea- leaking of CSF-cerebro spinal fluid from the nose. It is seen in the basilar skull fractures which is the fracture at the base of the skull. It may leak from the ears also where it is called as CSF otorrhea. Headache and visual disturbances are commonly associated with it. Because of the leakage there are chances of entry of bacteria to the meninges which results in meningitis. A skull x-ray will give the diagnosis. An MRI or CT will give the extent of injury to the soft tissues.
A blood and csf culture will give the microscopic picture of the analysis.
As it is a dangerous condition I advise you to meet your doc as soon as possible.
