Heart Cath Shows No Blockages, Pacemaker Inserted, Sore Arm. Normal?

Hi. I am a 47 yr old female. Had a heart cath 2 days ago which showed no blockages. Immediately following the H C I had a pacemaker inserted. PM sight very sore when I move my arm at all & the dr said he had to pull on it more than normal to get it in there. is soreness normal? Keeping it iced. How long should I be out of work?

Soreness is usual at insertion site for that take pain killer regularly for 3days also take one antibiotic to prevent infection for 5 days
