Heart Failure, Diabetes. Swelling In Testicles. Help
QUESTION. DOES IT MEAN THAT MY BROTHER IS GOING TO DIE SOON BECAUSE HE HAS HEART FAILURE. HE IS ONLY 49 YEARS OLD, WITH ALSO DIABETES? HE IS CURRENTLY IN THE HOSPITAL. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO. HE HAS NO WHERE TO LIVE BECAUSE HIS LANDLORD SAID HE CAN NOT COME BACK. HE HAS SWOLEN 'BALLS' THAT THEY ARE TREATING RIGHT NOW. MY MOTHER JUST PASTED AWAY IN MAY AND I AM THE OLDEST CHILD. I DONT WANT TO BE A NURSE. I NEED SOMEWHERE THAT HE CAN GO AND GET ASSISTANCE.
Heart failure used to be a death sentence but more and more people can live limited but normal lives after starting and adjusting medications over several months; the cause of the heart failure and the severity determine the prognosis. The swollen testicles are probably a reflection of fluid retention and he likely is receiving pills or injections to remove the fluid.
Yours truly,
