Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Heart Issue. Lumps Near Breast, Painful, Cough, Phlegm. Is It Due To Exhaustion?
Usually if there is something going on in my body I know it right away. It took the Dr's over ten years to find the problem in my heart. Here lately I feel like something is wrong. I have now found lumps in my breast, one that hurts to no end, and the other not at all. Just u.comfortable touch. I am far from a hypochondriac. However, I honestly feel something is wrong. Also, I have coughing up horrible phlegm since December. It tastes nasty. I never run a fever, sometimes I'm achy, but I'm always exhausted. Please give me some insight.
Thanks for your health concerns. Breast lumps should always be taken seriously, thus I encourage you to be seen by a health care provider who can examine those and determine if further testing is needed to ensure they are benign growths. Usually not a heart issue as these are superficial. In terms of the phlegm, same issue, chronic cough is worrisome and a provider who can examine you, get a chest x ray and some lab work is important to determine the cause (eg. pneumonia, COPD, lung abscess, etc)
Hope that is helpful wish you the best health,
