Heart Skipping Beats While Walking. Feeling Very Tired And Asleep In Chair. What Is Wrong?

My heart skips beats when I walk around after sitting down, or when I walk at a steady pace, I can really feel it in my chest, and also feel it stop if I place my fingers on my neck, I am also feeling very tired, go to bed early, but wake up after a few hours, and will fall asleep in the chair early most evenings, what is wrong? I am also a tablet controlled diabetic

Dear Sir/ Madam
Thanks for writing to HCM.
Skip beats are common and mostly benign unless associated with loss of consciousness/ dizziness/ blackout/ unexplained fall. There are many precipitating factors including tea/coffee/ alcohol/ smoking/ fever/ flu etc.
Since you have additional features like less sleep, easy fatiguability this (skip beats) may be a sign of some other generalised illness. Please do see your internist.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
