Heartburn. Having Lesion, Taking Medication. Any Ideas?
Hi, I am having terrible heartburn, since this morning, I do take motilium before breakfast & supper, and also tecta twice a day. Last year, I suffered for about 2 weeks before seeing a specialist. I did have an endocopic, and found that I had a small lesion and that is why he prescribed the meds. What can I have to eat, as I am afraid to eat or drink anything but water. I am a female, 69 yrs of age?
Take the same drugs again, until you see the doctor again - Proton pump inhibitor and pro-kinetic drug give good symptomatic relief...
In view of your age, you will need to repeat endoscopy / Biopsy will be necessary / H. pylori has to be tested
Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
