Heavy Bleeding After Taking Contraceptive Pill, Liquid Discharge, Pain In Leg, Back And Stomach. Advise?
hello, i have my fiancee, who took a contraceptive pill the next day after sexual intercourse. she began to have heavy bleeding some days after. then the bleeding stop. a few days next, she began to have liquid discharge from her vagina and it is still continue. she is also having heavy pain in her leg, back and stomach.
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
According to your description I am thinking that you mentioned about the emergency pill.
Emergency ill can alter the menstrual cycle depending on the period of the cycle when she took the pill.
So the bleeding she had could be side effect the pill.
As she is having vaginal discharge and pain abdomen better to consult gynecologist once and get examined to rule out the possibility of pelvic inflammatory disease.
