Heavy Bleeding From Anus. Having Itching, Yellowish Discharge From Anus. Fatigued. Suggestions?
Hi I had very heavy bleeding from my anus , three weeks ago! Since then I have had discomfort and itching, and today without any feeling that I needed the toilet I had a jelly substance which was yellowish discharge from my anus! I am 51 years old and I am 5ft 7 and weigh 10st! I eat healthy and exercise regularly, I have been very fatigued recently which is unusual for me.

Fatigue could be due to decrease in haemoglobin due to loss of blood from anus.There are few common causes of bleeding through anus.Haemorrides are most common cause ,followed by anal fissure,rectal polyp,solitary rectal ulcer,proctitis,ulcerative colitis and finally cancer of rectum.I would suggest you to consult a general surgeon who may examine you and may perform proctoscopy/sigmoidoscopy on you to determine cause of bleeding through anus.
