Hello, 58 year old female. (I have occasional hypertension but nothing over 140/85 when stressed. My normal is 120/80.) I had a physical in Jan. All numbers excellent. Had an EKG, echo, nuclear stress test...all went well. No abnormalities. In March started having PVC's. Did an EKG and showed possible left atrium enlargement. Did an echo and all looked well. Had another EKG today 4 months later, and it still shows humped P-wave which indicates possible left atrial enlargement. Scheduled for an echo in a week. Dr. not concerned. BP was 114/72 today. Still have occasional PVC's. Could that be causing the "left atrial enlargement"?
I am so nervous. My EKG's have always been normal. Why might this be happening?
