Hello I Had What Appeared To Be A Fungal Infection

Hello I had what appeared to be a fungal infection between the start of my leg and testicles. After self diagnosing the problem I purchase anti fungal cream and after a few days of use the rash was gone completely . Then pretty much as soon as the tube of cream was gone the rash came right back. So thinking I had not covered enough area part of the rash may not have been treated and just spread after use of the cream stopped . I got more cream and used it again and the rash went away right away again. However I finished the tube again and this time the rash is coming back but it doesn't look like the typical fungal rash it did before there's no distict lines like the rash had before. Now it is scaling and red and more on the underside of my scrotum and over the course of one day not using anti fungal cream a whole ton of sore to the tough pimple looking whiteheads are all over the underside of my scrotum and a little bit between my scrotum and leg. What would you suggest me doing? Getting more Antifungal cream and trying again or taking time off work to see a doctor? The rash started with itchy scaling red skin with a distinct border and matching on both sides like a half circle between my leg and scrotum and now it's very sore to the touch whiteheads all over with less of the red rash
