Hello, I Have Had Persistent Submandibular Lymphadenopathy For Almost 4

Hello, I have had persistent submandibular lymphadenopathy for almost 4 months now. One month ago I discovered a second 0.5-1cm lymph node below my ear. I saw an ENT doctor who wants to do a needle biopsy to evaluate for lymphoma, but gave me a course of clindamycon first to help "witch inflammation in the area". The lymph nodes have both shrunk in size since I completed the antibiotics, do lymph nodes affected by lymphoma respond to antibiotics?
