Hello! My Name Is Vanessa, And I Experienced A "white

Hello! My name is Vanessa, and I experienced a "white out" or also referred to as "grey out" today after my morning run. Everything went white for several minutes and I could not see. I am thinking this is because I did not eat anything before I exercised; however, should I be worried that it could be due to another underlying problem? I am a healthy high school athlete, but I also worry about everything and just wanted to know if I should go to the doctor or not.
