Hello, my brother was about 2-3 years old when he began having mobility disabilities and he hadn't started speaking yet. The doctors soon found out that the bottom right side of the brain was in his words, "soft like tofu". To this day, his right foot has partial mobility; although he can walk with it but not well. His right hand has no use due to it being paralyzed from this condition (it almost looks like an elderly person with arthritis). He also cannot form words to speak as well. He is as of now 26, turning 27 in October, and conditions has not changed. He is also roughly 180 lbs-200 lbs and 5'5. I am not sure if any other details, such as what coloring is the softening and how large of the area it is. I have been researching this condition and almost all I have read states children with these conditions have short life spans. My question to you professionals out there is, what is the common range of age that children with these conditions live to be, and will this condition get anymore worse?
