Hello My Mother Has A Hemoglobin Level Of 7 Blood

Hello my mother has a hemoglobin level of 7 blood was drawn today at local clinic she is a diabetic and has chronic kidney disease. The clinic called her back at 6:00 pm and advised to go to local ER to get a blood transfusion tonight she refuses to go and indicates she may go in the morning I now the faster she gets help would be better but she is stubborn. Is it seriously dangerous for her to wait until morning. Her hemoglobin level have been low for a long time?
