Hello there,

Recently went through a tonsillectomy 10 days ago, at the age of 26. Experience pretty bad bleeding approximately a day and a half ago, and subsequently went into emergency surgery to get the oozing blood vessel cauterized. Everything is good now. However, I need to fly four to five hours to go back home (went to my parents house across the country for the operation) next week Sunday. My surgeon says he prefers I wait two weeks. I cannot. Any docs out there who can tell me the risk of flying post-op and post cauterization - especially with something like blood vessels in the throat?
