Herpes, Tingling And Soreness On Scalp, Lump Around Mouth. Taking Valtrex. Recommendations?

I have herpes 1.. only above the neck. I am having a breakout now, last one was about 9 months ago. I started taking the valtrex again as directed.. 2 immediately and 2 12 hours after. I have tingling and soreness on my scalp as well. I feel fluish which is typical for me. So far a lump around my mouth, but it did not open yet.
What is going on with my scalp?

Hi, it appears that the herpes has infected secondarily with the bacteria. It needs to be treated with antibiotics, and you may need to change the drug as well, before the nerve pain starts.
So i advise you to consult a dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment, of both viral and bacterial infections. Thank you.
