Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 26 year old male. I have been told I have damaged my motor accessory nerve.
I have not had any surgery to cause the damage nor do I remember having any trauma that has caused this, but the scenario has lead to muscle wasting of my trapezius muscle. This wasting started to occur around 2008.
In 2011 I had completed a second nerve conduction study and was told the lower trapezius has progressed in healing much faster than the upper trapezius which was somewhat confusing to the doctor.
I will be going to do another nerve conduction study this October 2015 for a further update on my situation.
I have been researching heavily on trying to regain my full range of motion and muscular shape. I came across this organization and feel I could get some kind of advice or input on recovery methods via today's medical advancements.
If you can please reply to my email at a time of your convenience I would highly appreciate that. Any remark from your expertise on my situation regarding a strategy to get healed would mean a great deal to me.
Best regards,
Majdi Madi
