Hi, I Am A Paramedic And Am Starting Feel Depressed.

Hi, I am a Paramedic and am starting feel depressed. My shifts are 12-14 hrs long sometimes with minimal breaks. The recovery after night shift are really bad I feel constantly tired and drained. I'm feeling less inclined to go out anywhere and I used to be so social. I just want to stay in bed on my days off and dread the day before going back to work. I have to continue working full time as my husband is still studying. It has been five years with only my wage and I'm feeling so much pressure. I cannot go part time yet as we cannot afford it. I feel it's time to get some help. I've been seeing a counsellour but I belief the answer for me is to cut back my work , however due to my current situation I cannot do this right now. Should I take something to help me cope? Please do not prescribe something that puts on weight as this is something I struggle with already due to be constantly tired.
