Hi. I Am Cleaning Out A Drawer That Contains Some

Hi. I am cleaning out a drawer that contains some medication bottles. I noticed that I have norco and ibuprofen that were both filled on May 4, 2015. I think the doctor prescribed them in case they were needed for a foot injury; however, I don't believe any were even used. I am just wondering if either might still be safe to hold onto for a while longer or if I should just discard them now. Thanks!
