Hi, I Am Concerned About My Vaginal Health. Two Days

Hi, I am concerned about my vaginal health. Two days ago I was having intercourse with my SO and he accidently pulled out and jabbed into my anus, which was extremely painful, there was no feces on his penis and after he told me that his penis did not penetrate deep enough to reach contact with any harmful bacteria, and so we continued to vaginal sex. I showered after that but the next day I had a very distinct strong odor down there, but it did not burn when I peed. It only lasted a day and I swam in a pool today, and the smell is gone and everything seems fine. Should I still consult a doctor incase I have an infection?
