Hi, I have a constant presence of thick sputum or phlegm in my pharynx and possibly sticking to my epiglottis, which doesn't swallow away or run down my esophagus, and so I find myself having to clear my throat constantly. Drinking water doesn't seem to clear it away very well. I do feel like I'm often underhydrated, but the more water I drink the more I just urinate it back out.
