Hi, I Have Just Started To Feel A Sore Area

I have just started to feel a sore area of skin on my lower left arm, almost as if I had burned it. When checking my arm I noticed that in the area of soreness there is a lump under my skin. I don't remember any injury to this area. The lump is hard and when I press it, causes numbness in all of my fingers but particularly in my thumb and little finger. I am a 34 year old female.
