Hi! I Have Pigmentation Problem. My Face Looks Dark Because

Hi!
I have pigmentation problem.
My face looks dark because of different colours on my face.
It is dark on my forehead and chin and around my eyes.

Doctor gave me Momate-XL cream (Glenmark make). But I was told by one of my friend that it has steroids.

Is it harmful if we use cream having steroids. Kindly suggest.Will it have after effects?
After using this cream my skin became too good.

Kindly help me.
