Hi I really need some advice. I have researched and researched this is the one thing that nowhere has info on. I had a D&C abortion (ie. aspiration) 4 weeks ago, I was under 11 weeks pregnant at the time. I know that it can take 4-8 weeks for a normal period to start again, but I had a feeling to take a pregnancy test and I didn't take it early in the morning which I am aware affects the test and the likelihood to pick up the hcg hormone but it came back as positive. I was wondering if I was actually pregnant or it was left over hormones, I don't want to bother my doctor with nothing. When should I retest for a pregnancy, I wish to know as soon as possible
