Hi I Was Wondering If You Can Help Me Understand

Hi I was wondering if you can help me understand my situation better. I was 7 weeks pregnant and started bleeding lightly. I called the doc office and they did an ultrasound. There was no baby found. They did more blood work, I got the results today and they told me that my hormones were higher. So I got more blood work done I get the results Thursday. I kept bleeding like if I was on a my period.
