Hi I Went To Costa Rica And Got Multiple Bug

Hi I went to Costa Rica and got multiple bug bites on my arms and legs. I also came down with a what I believed to be a cold. Sinus congestion and cough. I had some major swelling to my left ankle a couple days after being bitten, I came home and now i have insomnia and heart palpitations, especially when I lie down and I can't shake off this cough.Its been three weeks since I've been back. I went to the Er and the doctor prescribed Xanax and said nothing was wrong with me. I don't believe I'm having anxiety issues. I was fine before this trip. Please advise
