Hi, Last Month I Missed My First Birth Control Pill

Hi, Last month I missed my first birth control pill of the month. Then, 2 weeks later i started spotting. The blood was light red and brown. Then, when it was time for my period and i was taking the sugar pills, my period was a day late snd it was only brown for a couple days. Was this due to my missed pill or should I be worried about being pregnant? I only spot during the middle of the month when i miss a pill
