Hi! My new provider (NP) for severe anxiety and depression is wanting to abruptly discontinue my nightly dose of diazepam of 10mg, but I have been on benzodiazepines for 15 years. Some of my previous MD’s and current pharmacist have been adamant about a long and careful weaning process. This new provider does not agree, and she said that my gabapentin, which is taken for chronic pain, will prevent any seizures. How should I move forward?
