Hi Doctor, I Am 32 Now We Are Trying For

Hi doctor, I am 32 now we are trying for a second kid for more than 2 years. Recently my hubby got operated for hdrocele. My cycle was regulr between 27-29 days and the immediate month after hydrocele surgery i got my periods on 33rd day. I suspect that I should be preggy and miscarried. What is the best time to visit doctor ? and what are the effective steps to be taken to avoid miscarriage before visiting doc ? Please awaiting for your valuable reply.
