Hi I Live In Canada But Was In India For

Hi i live in canada but was in india for a month and from.there i got bad stomach mucus and very little vlood came out so i staryed flagyl and it stopped in yhe meantime i webt ro see doctor and he asked me to give stool for further investigation today mrans after 5 days i went out and ate outside food which statyed again mucus. .shall i start with antibiotic or waot foe the result results as in canada it take 1 weeks time to get results...any suggestions
