Hi My Mum Was Today Prescribed 100 Mg Tablets Of

Hi my mum was today prescribed 100 mg tablets of macrodantin twice a day for five days for a urine infection. She has just read the leaflet about the many possible side effects of the tablets - including lung, liver, spinal cord and nerve damage - and is worried about taking them now. Are these tablets particularly strong? or are these the possible side effects of all antibiotics ?
