Hello thank you for your query. Hypertension and albuminuria in pregnancy is extremely dangerous for both the mother and the baby. The mother can have eclampsia ( convulsions ), lung failure, renal failure etc. The baby can face sudden intra uterine death. That is why they must be auscultating ( listening ) to the baby s heartbeat every 2 hours. You can know the severity and whether to worry or not, after checking the blood pressure, liver enzymes, blood reports, growth and liquor and colour flow to the baby. Consult your obstetrician for a clearer picture, as I feel the situation is definitely worrisome. Take care.
