Hi, Your GTT is abnormal which shows impaired glucose tolerance, even triglyceride level is high, what about cholesterol and LDL and HDL. This could be part of metabolic syndrome insulin resistance. Are you Over weight or Obese. Family history of Diabetes or heart disease? One more risk factor is Smoking or use of Alcohol which can be Stopped immidiately . You must take care of diet Low calorie low fat and low cholesterol diet take help of dietician. Also take exercise like walking,running, or even a Gym where you can do tread mill and cycling. You must take medicines advised to you if gastric problem discuss with your Physician to reduce the dose of metformin to 1/2 gm once a day if possible. Best of wishes for good health
