High Blood Pressure, Bruise Near The Ear After The Use Of Cocaine. Chances Of A Ruptured Blood Vessel?

Okay so thursday afternoon(yesterday) my friend
and i were drinking, to get to the point he pulls out
a baggie of cocaine no more than a gram.. we
start sniffing a few bumps and everything was
good, later that day my gf called me and started
telling me off and i got really really angry when we
were arguing and sad afterwards but this morning
i woke up with what felt like a tiny bruise above
my left ear. Im worried that my pressure was to
high and i might've ruptured a blood vessel? P.s it
doesnt hurt when i strain or i havent had any
headaches

Hello,
thanks for using health care magic

It is less likely that you had a ruptured blood vessel a that location due to increased blood pressure. Rupture blood vessels occurs in individuals with chronic hypertension or hypertensive people who are not on drugs. The site of rupture is usually the brain an the effects are loss of motor function of parts of the body or altered speech etc.

It is possible that you must have had a small trauma especially as you said you took cocaine.

You will need to get it clean and if tetanus is common in your location, you will need antitetanus serum for prophylaxis against tetanus.

Hope this helps you
Best regards
