High Fever, Shivering, High Creatinine Level, Normal Blood Report Results For Malaria And Typhoid, Normal Chest X-ray. What Infection Could It Be?f
my grandpa is 76yrs old....he hs been sufferng from fever upto 100-103degrees for the past 5-6 days.... our family doctr gave him a paracetamol and an antibiotic but the fever comes back as soon as the medicine effcts are over...he has a lot of shivering as well.. his blood reports for malaria n typhoid are normal,,his creatine level is little higher than normal level and his chest x-ray is clear... his lymphocyte(W.B.C.) count is 0000 but platelet count is in normal range... our doctor is not able to find out what infection it could be... for nw he is getting admitted in a local hospital... can u please help me in this??? LEKHA (NAVI MUMBAI)
Hi..Kesha.., since the blood reports are within the normal range...,
the cause of the fever could be viral infection i.e viral fever... if it so,
then the fever will subside by a weeks.. not to worry..
consult physician...
