is there any long term effect to the cold and cough medication Histatussin i ve been using it for three days now while it is helping with my symtems i m very nervous and haven t slepy for two days

Histatussin contains:

Chorphenamine Maleate - Useful for for Allergies,Nasal Congestion.

Ammonium Chloride - used as an expectorant (a drug that promotes the secretion or expulsion of phlegm, mucus, or other matter from the respiratory tract.)

Ephedrine HCl - used for nasal congestion caused by a cold or allergies.

These components don't have any significant long-term side effects.
