Hit Leg Below Knee. Have Hard Lump And Swelling. Suggestion?

Hi I fell into a fallen tree 2 weeks ago and hit my leg just below the knee on the front. It bruised straight away and hurt to touch but now the bruising has gone away except a reddish section on the skin. I have a very hard lump under the skin which hurts to push on and my leg is swelling up all the way down to the foot . Do I need to go and see a doctor?

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

The condition should be normal. There is blood clot under the skin which will be absorbed by your body in due course. Bruise and hard hit results in such condition.
As you said, there is swelling all the way down the foot when you push the lump, it is always better to consult a doctor physically to have expert advice.
Good luck.
